Each piece was fired for three days in a wood fired kiln then cooled for six days. The firing process leaves ash deposits which melt and fuse with the glazes. This creates interesting and unique variations in the designs.

Each piece is food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. With the microwave, we recommend only using the pieces for reheating to extend the life of the piece.
